This is because this reed was designed to play evenly through all registers. On top of that the Eco reed allows for all sub tones to come out with warmth and ease. Also these new reeds will allow you to be at peace with our planet, since they are produced from recycled material. Like all synthetic reeds these are ideal for players who double on other instruments since they don't need moistening. They can be shaped and filed easily for a custom sound and feel. This is a box of one tenor sax reed in soft strength, equivalent to 1.5-2.0. These last much longer than natural reeds with better consistency. Also available in medium soft, medium, medium hard, and hard.
